Allie is a granddaughter of Moscvitch, who was imported from Russia by Jim Sillers and Bonnie Dalzell.
At age nine and a quarter she is still going strong and I feel very safe with her around as she will sound the alarm if there is anything amiss out here in the country. She is my very very good friend, sleeps next to my bed (with her head hidden under it), rarely complains about anything and is as bouncy today as she was as a pup. After eight years she finally stopped waking me up to tell me that she was awake!
Hiking the sierras is a bit challenging to her now, but she forgets and wants to go anyway. We plan some short hikes for her to the creek that wanders through the neighborhood and she is so excited to go.
She remains a dedicated mother, was fabulous in the whelping box, is the Dam of Kelcorov's Walks on Water, JC, and is just a beautifully put together dog. She is fast AND she can go all day. Even at 9 years of age.
Allie's next project is learning Rally Obedience.

This is my favorite photo of Allie and River. This is the day that we taught him to swim. Allie, playing the part of the swim coach looks so authentic all she needs is a whistle around her neck!
