Topper was a big hit at the Borzoi Club of America National Specialty. First as he ran in the lure coursing tests and then in the junior borzoi futurity class where he was second place. Between his and sister Hermione's winnings we managed to pay for a few of our entries in the borzoi specialties.

This young borzoi may never find the courage to actually swim but he sure loves to show. He's got tons of substance and gobs of hair! He better learn to like water or he will overheat here soon.

Topper has been slow to mature but he is worth the wait. He is so powerful and 'over the top' with love and affection that a hug from him could actually be dangerous. He loves to show and is confident in the show ring. He has not been confident in doing hiking/swimming activities. So I think a little obedience and rally training is in his future. He is smart as a whip and I think he will realy enjoy the mental challenge.
