This certainly wasn't our National this year...other than her puppies placing 2nd in futurity classes and making a financial dent in our total entries. We have now heard that there were several respected borzoi 'experts', judges, breeders who thought her very nice indeed. This is one of the best movement shots I have seen of a borzoi. Notice the reach from the shoulder - not the elbow, rear foot falling into the footstep and slightly to the outside of the forefoot. The rear completely extended, hock fully open and the drive all the way through to the foot with the pads pointing out.. I like that her topline doesn't completely flatten out at the trot as she will still have plenty of spring at a full gallop.
